Job DetailsAs our Sr. Accountant/Accounting Manager, you will help build and manage the accounting functions of our company. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both hands-on accounting work and improving financial systems as a company scales.
Duties:
- Manage and execute the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close process
- Select AP and AR work as support is needed from Staff Accountant
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
- Prepare journal entries
- Monitor accounting processes and make improvements to strengthen internal controls
- Prepare and review financial statements
- Assist leadership with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
- Support the preparation of tax filings and regulatory reporting
Key Competencies:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
- 5+ years of accounting experience
- Strong understanding of GAAP
- Experience with ERP systems
- Advanced Excel proficiency
