This role is responsible for the development, communication, and administration of international Flight Dispatch policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and supporting consistent global operations.

•    Develop, communicate, and administer international dispatch policies in alignment with FARs, ETOPS, Operations Specifications, and applicable international regulations
•    Lead the introduction of new international service from a dispatch perspective, ensuring operational readiness and regulatory compliance while coordinating across IOC stakeholders and partnering with Flight Planning Support (FPS) on ANSP requirements
•    Translate regulatory and operational requirements into standardized dispatch procedures and guidance for international operations
•    Partner with IOC leadership to support departmental priorities, policy alignment, and operational objectives related to international dispatch
•    Coordinate with Flight, Technical Operations, Operations Engineering, Network Planning, and other stakeholders on current and planned international operations
•    Support the development, implementation, and maintenance of standardized international procedures in coordination with Technical Procedures and Training
•    Oversee ETOPS and Polar operations from a dispatch policy and compliance perspective, including coordination of required regulatory audits
•    Maintain working relationships with the FAA Certificate Management Office (CMO) and other regulatory authorities
•    Represent Dispatch in international operational and regulatory engagements, as required
•    Conduct post-operational review of international IROPS events and coordinate follow-up actions with appropriate stakeholders
•    Coordinate with IOC check dispatch leadership to ensure consistency in FAA-mandated dispatcher competency checks within international operations
•    Monitor industry practices and competitor international operations to support continuous improvement in dispatch performance and efficiency

All you'll need for success

Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 7 years of related experience

Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

  • 5 years’ experience in airline network and operations management
  • Ability to successfully network with senior staff members concerning business objectives, challenges, and recommendations
  • Proven strategic, analytical, planning and project management skills
  • Proven track record of performance excellence meeting targets and objectives

Skills, Licenses & Certifications

  • Must possess a FAA Aircraft Dispatcher certificate with AA Dispatch experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
