Job DetailsWe are seeking a Personal Injury Attorney to manage complex litigation matters from filing through trial, with a focus on catastrophic injury cases.
Responsibilities
- Handle complex personal injury litigation matters from petition through jury trial
- Manage non-subscriber industrial accident, catastrophic injury, wrongful death, medical malpractice and dram shop cases
- Draft and argue motions, conduct discovery, handle mediations and take depositions
- Work with expert witnesses across multiple fields
- Represent clients in state and federal court with minimal supervision
- Manage occasional commercial litigation matters as needed
Qualifications
- 4+ years of personal injury litigation experience
- First chair or significant second chair trial experience
- Extensive deposition experience, including expert depositions
- Strong legal research, writing and communication skills
- Active and good standing Texas bar
- Juris Doctor
- Bilingual Spanish and English is a plus, but not required
