Gallery Attendant

Job Title: Gallery Attendant

Pay: $15/hr

Schedule:

1. 20 hours/week (max of 25hrs)

2. Wed - Fri - 9:15-5:15

3. Sat - Mon - 9:15-5:15
   
   Employment Type: Temp to Hire 
   
   Roles and Responsibilities: 
   As a Gallery Attendant, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our visitors. Your responsibilities will include: 
   - Assisting guests with inquiries and providing information about exhibits. 
   - Ensuring the gallery space is clean, organized, and well-maintained. 
   - Monitoring visitor flow and ensuring a positive experience for all guests. 
   - Collaborating with the team to enhance the overall presentation of the gallery. 
   - Supporting special events and educational programs as needed. 
   
   Experience Level: 
   - Preferred experience level is 0+ years.
   
   Required Skills: 
   - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 
   - Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. 
   - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. 
   - A passion for the arts and a desire to engage with the community. 
   
   Preferred Skills: 
   - Previous experience in a customer service or gallery setting is a plus. 
   - Familiarity with art history and current exhibitions.
